I never planned to start a skincare brand. But 2020 had other ideas.
I got laid off from my engineering job, and honestly, it knocked me on my ass. I didn't know what was next. But with all that free time, I started messing around with something I'd always been curious about, skincare.
I was making formulas in my kitchen, testing ingredients, going down rabbit holes. That's when I landed on hops. Most people think beer, but the lupulin inside the plant is packed with antioxidants and skin-calming properties. I couldn't stop researching it.
So I kept going. I used what I knew from engineering to build formulas that actually do something. And I made sure it works for everybody. I didn't build this brand with one type of person in mind. If you have skin, this is for you.
Fast forward to now: Harper's Hops has been seen by millions and we're in conversations with major retailers.
Getting laid off felt like the worst thing that could've happened to me. Turns out it was the push I needed.
