I never set out to create a skincare brand, but every step led me here.

I have always been curious. My father, an engineer and entrepreneur, and my grandfather, a carpenter and farmer, encouraged my curiosity. They taught me to appreciate craftsmanship and question how things worked. These lessons have defined my path in life.

After high school, I joined the Marines, where discipline and attention to detail became second nature. Grooming standards were strict, and I became fascinated by the science behind personal care products–their ingredients, effectiveness, and impact on skin and hair. Leaving the military, I discovered and was captivated by the chemistry behind beer brewing. Transitioning into a career as an aerospace engineer, I worked to develop cutting-edge turbomachinery until an unexpected layoff forced me to rethink my direction entirely.

With time to reflect, I rediscovered my passion for chemistry and stumbled into an astonishing discovery. Hops, widely celebrated in brewing, had untapped potential beyond beer. With potent anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and skin-rejuvenating properties, Humulus Lupulus (hops) could be a groundbreaking ingredient in skincare. Applying my engineering mindset, I set out to redefine skincare using hops in a way no one had before.
