I didn't set out to build a skincare brand—but curiosity has a way of reshaping plans.
I have always been curious. From an early age, I was fascinated by how things work. This drive led me to the military, a career in engineering, and, ultimately, to the world of brewing science. It was here that curiosity found me again, this time in the form of a bright yellow resin found inside hop flowers—lupulin. At first, it was just a brewing novelty. But when I began digging deeper, I uncovered something far more compelling.
For centuries, hops have been used in traditional medicine—but it was the more recent peer-reviewed research that caught my attention. Lupulin contains alpha acids, beta acids, and flavonoids—compounds with powerful antioxidants and skin-rejuvenating properties. Hops weren't just for beer—they held untapped potential in skincare.
That discovery set everything in motion.
